Lessons have been learnt and new policy will be created as a result of this year's Big Debate meetings.
That's according to the man in charge of Policy and Reform Chris Robertshaw who says government has taken the feedback on board:
The meetings were the first time that government has gone out to the public to explain the key challenges it is facing.
A random selection of the public was invited to have their say using voting technology.
