A local charity is appealing for support to buy the 'Winkie' lighthouse in Bride.
Founder Bill Dale says the £10,000 location would be 'perfect' for Beach Buddies' northern base - where marine litter is a serious issue.
Its 6,000 volunteers are expected to remove 300 tonnes of waste from Manx beaches by the end of 2015.
It's already established a visitor centre at Niarbyl, and is in the process of renovating Brewery Bay in the south.
