A recycling initiative operated by local councils is to be extended.
The scheme, which was launched in 2008, was due to end this year. Instead Douglas, Braddan and Onchan residents will see recycling vehicles until next year.
It was government funded but now the local authorities will each pay for it to continue till the end of next March.
It's a trial to see whether it can be operated and financed in future.
