A man has appeared in court after trying to smuggle items into prison.
42 year old Scott Eric Carbutt appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Carbutt is currently serving a seven year sentence in Jurby for drugs offences and an attack with a bat.
He was charged with three counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply them and four counts of introducing prohibited articles into prison.
The case was adjourned until November 21 and Carbutt was remanded in custody.
