Assault in Laxey leaves man with head injuries

Police are investigating a fight on Saturday night which led to a man sustaining head and upper-body injuries.

It occurred in Laxey during the ‘Blues Festival’ period at approximately 11.00pm.

The incident, involving a number of both males and females centred around the Snaefell Tram crossing.

The injured man was admitted overnight to hospital, he’s since been discharged and is making a good recovery.

Police are particularly keen to speak with a motorist who had to stop as the incident spilled out into the road.
