A man's been handed a second restraining order after his second conviction for harassing ex-girlfriends in 10 years.
Glenn Gillon of North View in Peel appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He'd initially denied harassing a woman between October 25 last year and February 15 this year, but changed his plea to guilty.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the court despite warnings from police and the woman's advocate, Gillon sent repeated text messages and emails as well as calling her from withheld numbers.
The 47 year old made comments about her relationship status and appearance, and on one occasion banged on a shop window after spotting her inside.
In a victim impact statement, the woman said she'd been living in fear and had considered putting up security cameras around her home.
The court heard unemployed Gillon had been jailed and handed a restraining order for harassing another woman in 2013.
Magistrates ordered him to do 120 hours of community service and spend a year on probation as well as pay £250 costs.
He was also indefinitely banned from contacting the woman.
