Man remains in serious condition following incident

The 35-year-old man who was in police custody has since been released with no action taken, he’s not on bail either.

More details are emerging from the incident in Castletown on Wednesday that left a man with serious head injuries.
 
The 42-year-old local man who suffered head injuries remains in a serious condition in Nobles Hospital.
 
The 35-year-old man who was in police custody has since been released with no action taken, he’s not on bail either.
 
A further 30-year-old local man has since been arrested and is presently in custody at Police Headquarters.
 
The man sought by the police yesterday has now been identified and interviewed as a witness.
 
The family and friends of the injured man remain with him in Nobles, and it is requested that the family’s privacy is respected at this difficult time.
