A man will stand trial in the Court of General Gaol Delivery over allegations he has more than 250 indecent images of children.
Philip Davidson of Kensington Avenue in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 34 year old denies four counts of possessing the images between October 2013 and October last year.
The court heard he'd left a laptop under a bed at a former home, and it was handed over to police when the images were found on it.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the hearing a total of 265 images were found on three devices.
Mr Davidson was bailed in the sum of £500 until he appears in court again on May 30.
