Man to stand trial after car parking dispute

A man who's accused of provoking behaviour after a parking dispute will stand trial in December.

39-year-old Emerson Fierro, who now lives in Colby, appeared at Douglas Courthouse for a pre-trial review yesterday.

A charge of possessing an offensive weapon was replaced with one count of provoking behaviour which he pleaded not guilty to.

The allegations centre on a dispute in Castletown on August 29th about where his then neighbour's partner had parked his car.

Mr Fierro's bail was extended and he will next appear in court on Monday, December 8th.
