Two cherished Manx licence plates have sold for just over £30,000 at auction.
The plates, MN7 and 7MN, were sold by auctioneers at Chrystals at the weekend.
But had been expected to fetch tens of thousands of pounds at the sale in Douglas.
And when the hammer finally fell, the pair had been snapped up for a cool £31,000!
