Manx-made film due for UK release

Albatross is opening to rave reviews from the critics

One of the latest films to be made on the Isle of Man is set for its nationwide release next week.

Albatross is the coming of age story mixing elements of drama and comedy which has received strong reviews across the board prior to its release.

Filmed in the Autumn of 2009 it’s set entirely against the backdrop of the Isle of Man’s coastal scenery.

It stars up and coming Brit actress Felicity Jones, Julia Ormond and revered German actor Sebastian Koch.

It will be in the Broadway cinema from Friday 14th October.
