ManxSPCA gives advice on how to protect animals in the storm

ManxSPCA has given people advice on how to protect animals during storm Eowyn.

It says for small animals like dogs and cats, to bring them in before the storm and create a safe space for them.

For larger animals such as horses and livestock to keep them in stables and remove any hazards like loose debris that could cause injuries.

It also says to avoid letting pets outside during the storm and to keep calm as pets pick up on anxiety.
