Female racer Maria Costello has been withdrawn from racing in this year's TT.
Isle of Man TT Races confirmed the news on social media earlier today.
It says 'following an incident on the opening day of qualifying, Maria has been withdrawn from competing under the instruction of the Chief Medical Officer.'
No further details have been given at this time.
TT organisers have wished her a speedy recovery.
