New marine zones will help protect the Isle of Man's coastline.
The Island's territorial sea covers 4,000 square kilometres and extends for 22 kilometres - it accommodates recreational and leisure activities as well as commercial fishing.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is in the first stages of a new inshore marine zoning plan.
Five inshore conservation zones will be established - commercial dredge and trawl fishing won't be allowed but potting and recreational fishing can continue.
