The Met office has released an amber weather warning as ice and frost are expected later tonight and tomorrow morning.
The warning will be in place from 4pm today, until 5am tomorrow morning.
Forecasters say temperatures will plummet, expected to fall into the low minuses.
The office says icy conditions are expected to affect all Island roads - causing significant problems for areas that are already wet.
