Storm set to hit this afternoon

A severe gale force storm is set to hit this afternoon.

That's according to Ronaldsway Met Office forecaster Kirsty Pendlebury - who says winds are anticipated to increase to between 60 and 70 mph in exposed areas.

Air and sea travel isn't currently expected to be adversely affected by the bad weather.
