MHK calls for better population policy

Demographical figures of people living on the Isle of Man should be published by government.

That's the idea being put to Tynwald next Tuesday in light of policy reviews on national insurance and housing.

Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas will ask for completed unpublished reports to be made public and for a future-proof action plan to be developed by July.

He also wants a report compiled by December showing whether or not government is addressing issues highlighted by the research.
