The House of Keys is to consider new laws changing the way organ donations work on the Island.
Yesterday, Garff MHK Martyn Perkins was given permission to bring forward a private member's bill that'll make the system opt-out instead of opt-in.
A similar system has been set up in Wales - on the Isle of Man, only 12,600 people are registered for donations.
Mr Perkins revealed nine people are currently waiting for a transplant and six people have died since 2013 while waiting for organs to be donated.
