    The Bunscoill in St Johns

The Minister for Education and Children will be asked about the cost of running the Manx language school in the House of Keys today.

Onchan MHK David Quirk wants to know how much it costs to run the Bunscoill in terms of salaries, books, materials, other overheads and the maintenance costs for the building.

He also wants to know how much it costs the department to employ a Manx language officer and whether there are any other ancillary costs.

The Education Minister will also be asked about the tender terms for the Mooinjer Veggey nursery at Ashley Hill which promotes the use of Manx Gaelic to pre-school children.

Mr Quirk wants to know what the tender terms for the facility are, how many staff are employed and who pays for the upkeep of the nursery.
