A local TT ace has officially picked up an honour bestowed on him by the King.
Richard Milky Quayle was the guest of honour at Government House last night, when he officially received the British Empire Medal.
He was named a BEM recipient in June for his services to roadracing.
After retiring from racing, he now helps newcomers get used to riding the Mountain Course.
