MLC claims constant roadworks are 'waste of money'

Taxpayers' money is being wasted due to Manx Utilities Authority orders to scrap costly infrastructure works:

That's MLC Juan Turner - who says the A26 Glen Darragh Road, between Glen Vine and Braaid, has been repeatedly re-modelled since first being laid.

In Tynwald next week the MUA chairman will be asked how many times it's been dug up by the organisation.

Mr Turner says it shows a haphazard disregard for expense:
