The mother of an autistic child says she wants to improve the public's understanding of the condition.
Louise Armstrong will be marking autism awareness month - the national initiative, now in its eighth year, will run throughout April.
Her six-year-old son Samuel has difficulty interacting in certain social situations which can become problematic and give the appearance that he is simply a "naughty child".
Louise says she's confident that improved awareness will greatly help other parents of autistic children:
