Motorcyclist taken to Nobles with serious injuries following collision

At approximately 12.40pm this afternoon, a two vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the Snaefell Mountain Road near to the Black Hut.

The collision involved a black and silver coloured Honda CBR1000F motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to Nobles Hospital.

The other car involved was a red coloured Honda Jazz model, the occupants were uninjured.

The road was closed for approximately four hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.

Police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have been travelling through the area at the time.
