Motorsport stars past and present on Island for Southern 100

A huge line up of racing talent old and new will be on Island next week for the 60th Southern 100 races.

Both bike and sidecar champions dating from the late 1950s upto modern day stars like Guy Martin and Michael Dunlop will be in attendance.

Since 1955 the event has progressed from a small scale three race schedule to an internationally recognised 14 race event.

The organisers have branded this year's event as the 'friendly races'.

Practicing for all classes will get under way on Monday.
