Mountain course open: MGP qualifying sessions delayed

Manx Grand Prix qualifying sessions have been delayed due to standing water on the course.

The four-lap newcomers race is scheduled to get under way at 2pm.

Set to close at 11:30am for qualifying sessions - wet weather has led to delays in road closures on the Mountain Course.

A further announcement is expected at around 12:30pm.

Racing is still expected to go ahead as planned at 2pm.

Organisers say roads should re-open by 4:40pm.
