The Mountain Road has been closed due to heavy snow fall.
The decision was made to close it from the Creg-na-Baa to Lheany Road after reports of trucks and cars sliding on the wet road.
Police have assessed the route and decided it will be closed until at least 12pm in the interest of public safety.
