The bus control have said that all bus services are this morning cancelled. The icy conditions have made driving conditions difficult.
Temperatures dipped to below freezing overnight. Met Officer forecaster Andy Roberts told that this morning we are waking up to a blanket of snow, and the cold weather is here for the foreseable future.
The Island is bracing itself more yet more snow today as showers are forecast, which will be heavy at times.
Temperatures at best will reach just 3 degrees celcius this cold Sunday.
Several minor roads have been closed, and motorists are being advised to drive with extreme caution.
