The government's asking people to observe a two-minute silence this weekend.
The Island is due to fall silent at 11am on Remembrance Day on Sunday, and Armistice Day on Monday.
Drivers are being asked to pull over where it's safe to do so to observe the silence.
The Island's national remembrance service will take place at the Royal Chapel in St Johns from 3pm on Sunday.
