The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it's spent almost a million pounds on recruitment benefits over the last 10 years.
A Freedom of Information request asked about schemes such as relocation costs, housing allowances and student loan forgiveness.
In its response, the department said it had spent a total of £968,133 on the schemes.
Housing allowances for 95 staff made up more than half of that figure - £404,532 in the last decade.
