A short film this week will show how the Island's climate has changed in the last half a billion years.
The Manx Geological Survey is a hosting a talk and film screening at the Manx Museum on Friday.
Dr David Quirk will explore the Island's past climates with temperatures, sea levels, biodiversity and tectonic changes which have been recorded in rocks.
The event is free and starts at 7.30pm.
