    New gadgets introduced for visually impaired voters

    Visually impaired people on the Isle of Man will find it easier to vote in this month's General Election following a technology breakthrough.

    For the first time those who have sight problems will be able to cast their vote in private.
     
    It's thanks to the help of tactile voting devices.
     
    The plastic gadgets fit over the ballot paper with raised numbers corresponding to each candidate allowing voters to identify who they want to vote for without assistance.
     
    Manx Blind Welfare Society resource manager David Wilson explains how the devices work:
