    New mental health facility designed to last

    Plans for a new mental health facility have had to factor in the ever increasing aging population.

    Grianagh Court, which was built in the early nineties, is currently operating at maximum capacity and has done for several years.
     
    Later this month Tynwald will be asked to approve £7.2 million for a larger unit to be housed on the Noble's Hospital campus site. 
     
    Paul Hurst is the clinical general manager in the Mental Health Service - he says the challenge has been designing a facility that will last into the future:
