The Royal Navy are appealing to the people of the Isle of Man for inspiration in coming up with a new motto for one of their vessels.
The ship in question, HMS Ramsey, has obvious local links and is the third vessel to bear the town’s name.
The people of Ramsey in particular are being appealed to, to help devise the new slogan.
The winning suggestion will go down in history, with the motto to be used on all future HMS Ramsey ships, irrespective of that vessel’s role.
Entrants may put forward as many submissions as they wish. Entries should be submitted in English, be unique and of no more than six words in length.
