Plans have been put forward to improve access through Noble's Park throughout the year.
The Department for Enterprise is proposing to build a grasscrete pathway and roadway through the northern section of the landmark in the Island capital.
The department says a new route which would link the central path there with the northern end of the site would open up the existing space for members of the public and create an all-weather track which would improve safety and emergency access at events.
Officials add, if approved, it could also lead to a significant long-term saving to the taxpayer by removing the need to rent, install and remove temporary pathways.
