The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure have said they will still be able to operate the Night Owl over the coming busy weekend.
With the bus strike set to commence on Thursday there were fears this could have impacted the night time service, on what is one of the busiest social weekends of the year.
The night owl buses are a recent introduction to the service and are geared toward offering cheaper alternatives for late night transport, and reducing numbers of drunk driving.
Department of Community, Culture and Leisure Chief Executive, Nick Black, has said this is one aspect of service delivery they have fought hard to ensure remains unchanged:
