The Department of Infrastructure says it hasn't formally decided to close greenways during TT yet.
Earlier this year, it revealed it was planning to shut a number of routes during TT to prevent people riding illegally on them
A Freedom of Information request to the DOI asked for more details about the plans after road closure orders were approved.
In its response, the department said a formal decision on the closures - which would be monitored by government staff - hasn't yet been made.
