No major lockdown changes until April

The Chief Minister says they can't imagine making any major changes to the Island lockdown until at least April 6.

Howard Quayle MHK made the statement during this afternoon's Covid-19 briefing, who added it will probably be until at least April 12 until we could see a full release of restrictions.

Mr Quayle adds this is assuming we continue to see unexplained Coronavirus cases get reduced and eradicated.

He's also confirmed schools, hospitality, non-essential retail, lifestyle or other businesses will not be able to return until after the Easter holidays.

Government has also reiterated the message that residents should not go into work if they're showing Covid-19 symptoms and to self-isolate and call 111.
