There will be no fireworks display in Port Erin this year according to Commissioners.
At last week's meeting the possibility of hosting a display was 'explored,' but ultimately it was agreed it was not something that will be progressing.
Chair of the Commissioners, Godfrey Egee, says there was no provision for fireworks this year, which was a decision based on operational, financial, ecological and local business impacts.
Port Erin's Hop Tu Naa Spooky Walk is still taking place on October 30.
