
The Island's Home Affairs Minister says her department hasn't had reports of problems about a new digital ID system.
In Tynwald this week, Jane Poole-Wilson faced questions from North Douglas MHK David Ashford about the phone-based app that could replace physical ID for buying booze.
She said 2,000 people had installed it and most business seemed to accept it, even though it's not compulsory.
But she added checking the IDs would be an extra cost for the hospitality industry:
