No school crossing job applicants, says minister

Nobody wants to help children cross the road safely at a school in the south of the Island.

That's according to Justice and Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson, after a question for written response from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.

He wanted to know what's been done to recruit a crossing patrol for Rushen Primary School.

Mrs Poole-Wilson said three attempts to recruit someone resulted in zero applications.
