Regional swimming pools across the Island have seen a surge in use over the last year whilst facilities at the NSC are closed for refurbishment.
Public baths in Peel, Castletown and Ramsey have reported a significant hike in use since last August, compared to the previous year.
Figures taken from the last twelve months show total admissions at the Northern Pool rose 30%, whilst the Southern Pool saw a boost of around 10%.
Data from the Western Pool, which includes lessons, private hire and use by clubs displaced by the NSC closure, saw overall entrances rise from around 62,000 to 95,000.
The facilities have offered extended opening hours to cater for the extra demand caused by the closure of the NSC.
