    NSC nearly back up and running after floods

    The NSC is nearly back to normal - with the squash courts re-opening today nearly a year after severe flooding.

    The sports centre in Douglas was badly affected in November 2015 which left many facilities out of use. 
     
    The Bowl re-opened over the summer and the bowls hall was put back into use last week - the astroturf pitch is anticipated to open by the end of October depending on the weather. 
     
    Paul Bridson is the head of sport and recreation - he says in the face of adversity they've taken the opportunity to improve the facilities:
