Kevin Oliphant-Smith has announced he'll stand for Douglas North in the upcoming House of Keys general election.
He previously stood unsuccessfully in last year's Douglas South by-election.
He says current politicans have been 'sitting on their hands' and now wants 'the right people for the job'.
Sitting MHK Ralph Peake has also declared for Douglas North.
