Commissioners in Onchan have proposed rent on social housing doesn't increase this year.
The Board has submitted a 0% increase for 2023/24 to the Department of Infrastructure for consideration.
It comes following their latest meeting, where they expressed some tenants would find it 'difficult to cope' with any increases under the present global energy crisis.
It's added despite a rise in cost for materials and labour, Commissioners can continue to maintain their housing stock to high standard without rent going up.
