Online fundraiser for Southern 100 rider blasts past target

More than £25,000 has been raised to help the family of a racer who was seriously injured during the Southern 100.

27 year old Anthony' O'Carroll came off during a practice session and was airlifted to hospital in Liverpool, where he remains.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his parents Mary and Neilus, who flew from Ireland to be with their son as he recovers.

The online fundraiser has already passed its 30,000 euro target - you can donate here.
