Do the Island’s politicians need to recognise that more needs to be done to encourage children to play outside?
That’s a question being posed at tonight's Positive Action Group meeting which will take place at the Manx Legion in Douglas at 7.30pm.
Guest speaker this evening is Chris Gregory – a play development officer at The Children’s Centre.
He says although rarely thought of as a matter for government there is a growing concern that children are being denied opportunities for unstructured outside play.
Tonight Chris will also present some of the findings from a recent survey which supports this idea:
