Organisers of the Parish Walk say they're currently expecting some of the highest ever numbers of participants for this years event.
The annual occasion which sees those involved take on all or part of an 85-mile course around the Island is due to take place on Saturday, June 19.
Those behind it say 1,663 entries have already been confirmed so far, the largest amount for this point in the year.
Meanwhile, it's also been announced a special free 'Fanzone' will be set up at Knockaloe Farm in Patrick for participants and spectators.
This will include live video streaming as entrants pass through Dalby and at the Peel checkpoint, live timing points delivering updates from Dalby and Glen Maye, food and drink outlets, childrens activities and off-road parking.
Race Director, Ray Cox, says: "The introduction of the Fanzone will mean that supporters, friends and family can stay in touch with the action as well as taking the opportunity to relax and enjoy some food and drink for a couple of hours whilst the walkers complete the section to Peel.
"We are grateful to the Royal Manx Show Society for allowing us to set up the Fanzone in such a great spot and to Peter Young at Event Management Solutions for all his help in organising it."
Elsewhere, due to the large volume of participants expected, changes to the road closure schedule on the day have been made which will see the road from the Round Table to Dalby shut to vehicles between 12.30pm and 5pm - extra feeding stations will be available for walkers on the section as well as first aid if required.
Registration for the Parish Walk is open until Midnight on Sunday, May 16 - details on the event and how to apply are available at www.parishwalk.com.
