Patrick's rates are rising - but by less than the rate of inflation.
The parish commissioners say this year's rates will be 248p in the pound, an increase of 2 per cent.
It says members carefully considered the increase, which was driven by increasing costs at the incinerator.
It says it's also facing extra costs for services, local authority elections in April and a large fee rise at the Western Civic Amenity Site.
