Fire teams in the West of the Island were mobilised to tackle two large hedge fires earlier this week.
An appliance from Peel Station was dispatched to reports of an incident on Arrasey Road, in Glen Maye at 4:17pm on Tuesday, July 3.
Peel crews were called on again at 6:15pm on the day to deal with a further hedge blaze, also on Arrasey Road.
Both fires were eventually neutralized - the whole operation required 4 pumping appliances, a water bowser and two Pinzgauers.
