Work to get a sewage treatment plant for the west of the Island looks set to take a step closer next week.
When the planning committee sits on Monday, it'll consider an application for a new sewage treatment works on Glenfaba Road in Peel.
The project has been on the drawing board for years, but delays mean raw sewage is still being released into the sea.
On Monday, however, the treatment works has been recommended to be green-lit.
